Returns and Withdrawal

1. The statutory right of withdrawal

If you bought as a consumer — or as a sole trader making a purchase outside your professional specialisation — you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason. The period runs from the day the contract was concluded.

2. Why digital content is different

WpOptima is digital content delivered without a tangible medium. Under Article 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply once performance has begun with your express prior consent, given together with an acknowledgement that you will lose that right.

This matters in practice: at checkout you are asked to confirm that you want the licence key delivered immediately and that you understand this ends the right of withdrawal. Once the key has been sent, the statutory right is gone.

If you do not give that consent, the key is not sent immediately and your 14 days run normally — write to us and we will hold delivery.

3. Our own 30-day guarantee

Because the rule above would leave most buyers with no way back, we give a contractual guarantee that goes further than the law requires:

• it lasts 30 days from the date of purchase;
• it applies whether you bought as a consumer or as a company;
• you do not have to justify the decision;
• the licence key is deactivated when the refund is issued.

4. How to ask for a refund

Send an email to ai@wpoptima.com with your licence key or the email address used for the order. There is no form to fill in. We confirm within two working days and return the money using the same payment method, no later than 14 days after we accept the request.

A refund request is not the same as a complaint about a defect. If the plugin is not in conformity with the contract, you have separate rights described in section 8 of the Terms of Sale, and they are not limited to 30 days.
